At least with Eastenders, now and then we see a CGI effect of a train crossing the viaduct but now suddenly in Coronation Street we begin after all this time we begin to hear and see a tram which finally crashes onto the cobbles. Were have they been all this time?
Silly, there was never anypoint in aiming cameras and mikes at the viaduct before...what I want to know is where are the emergency services. 20 minutes so far....
The tram has been going past over the viaduct for the last couple of years to my knowledge , when ive been on the tram going into manchester ive looked down on what i thought was " the street " but the set of the street isnt there if you get my drift ( i live in manchester )
Serious RTA -it happens -no-one in real life can be all things for all people .
I know you wont believe it but there was a bad smash involving fatalities and as luck would have it there was another bad accident invoving fatalities within the same catchment -they had to get emergency services in from 20mls away !!
Couldnt make it up eh? Selfish bastards PD eh?.....
The street set is still there on the Granada Studios site at Castlefield and the actors are there most days but the real tram service doesn't go over the set, so I'm not sure which street you've been going over, ladybird.
