How can I lose weight efficiently?
29 Answers
hi
I exercise regularly, keep a balanced diet for more months and I can't lose a single pound :( What else can I do? I really need your help. Are diet pills an option for me? and where can I get them?
advice needed from people with experience please.
Thanks a lot

As we get older, our body decides it needs to “save our life” and decides to lay down fat!! (Thanks body) All the previous answers have a great deal of merit. If you exercise regularly, your body gets used to it and still lays down reserve fat. If you eat the same foods on a regular basis again the same thing happens. I myself at the age of 56 have discovered a happy medium. I eat porridge for brecky mon fri. Kippers for lunch most days. Grilled brecky bacon eggs etc at the weekend. In between this My intake consists of no processed foods at all. I do not have salt in the house nor sugar. Fish, veg, chicken fruit etc.
A little goggling can come up with some cracking recipes using mixed beans lentil etc. My favourite is bean casserole with added Harrissa mmmm. That’s the trick really, changing and altering your intake as well as regular exercise. When I say regular, I go to the gym 2/3 times a week. Sometimes only once. Then maybe 3 times, then not at all for a week!! Again it’s a case of not to keep regular or the body will get used to it and god bless it will try to save you life by adding blubber!! Also watch out for low fat products which actually are high in sugars like yoghurts. Low fat processed foods are often covered in salt and also the home made version is lower in fat if any sometimes. Ready made meals are often packed with fats and salt also. Watch out for hidden fats which are taken without thought i.e. full fat milk, cooking oils etc . Another trick is using butter instead of spreads. Butter breaks down proteins in your foods which keep us sustained longer. However everything in moderation minds.
I`m not saying I don’t have treats o no quite the opposite. However, after eating properly for the first time in my life I don’t crave treats as I used to. My after tea treat is fruit salad with fromaige frai if that how you spell it! I used to eat mostly carbs, and craved food all the time. Now I understan
