Suggestions on regional media that if/when imminent decision to scrap the Nimrod programme is made, a number of almost-complete fighter planes will be cut up.
What a waste of taxpayers money!
I suggest the workforce occupy the plant, complete the work and sell the results on Ebay, dividing the income as their compensation. Seriously.

Weren't there some ships that the government are having built even though they don't want them because it's cheaper to have them built than to cancel the order? it's not those aircraft carriers is it?
