Every pavement in Whitley Bay is covered with up to 6 ins of thick, impacted, frozen snow. It's hell on earth. Was forced to go out yesterday and managed with great difficulty to wend my way home without incident, only to slip and fall at my front door.

Our street is still under a foot of snow here in Whitby.
I went to put some rubbish out first thing and was brained by a chunk falling off the roof. It went straight down the back of my PJ's

long lane at the back of the abbey we camped at a farm on the lane , fun getting back after the pubs shut , no street lghting on the lane and a deep ditch running along the side of the lane
That road is exactly the same now DrFilth.
My best friend has a farm on there and the number of times I've been driving home and nearly run tourists over.....

it is pitch black on that lane at night , plenty have gone down that ditch :)
