Do I need to turn my router off 2.........

Thanks all you Guys for the useful answers to my earlier question and Chuck, I need to leave the router on so that I have an Internet connection to my iPhone (from which I listen to TalkSport in bed first thing) without having to go downstairs to the hallway in the morning to switch the router back on. I'd also be interested in your opinion of the DAB/Tone control aspect of my question.
I should say that I listen via my iPhone because that transmits a more treble oriented sound. I don't use the DAB radio any more because of the afore mentioned problem.

I had a look round yesterday and you are quite correct, there appears to be very few (if any) DAB radios with any sort of tone control at all, I have no idea why this would be the case though, as I can see no reason why a simple tone control (a capacitor and a variable resister connected in series with the speaker output)) couldn't be put on DAB radios.

If the DAB radio has a headphone socket you could always get a cheap (about £5) set of travel speakers and plug those into the dab radio as they would produce less bass.
