if i am on the sex offenders register, will my wife be restricted or stoped from working with children? she hopes to go to university next september to become a socail worker or something to do with working with children?

I don't know about working with children in a nursery (don't think it would affect this) but if she were to become a childminder in the home that you share then she would not be able to.

tigiwg is right whe she says it would not affect your wife is she were to work in a nursery, pre-school etc as partners of employees are not CRB checked
As tigwig states, if she were to become a childminder, you would have ot have a basic CRB and this would definitely show up on it
I'm not sure about if she were to become a social worker
