Ok well I'd have kids much younger. Gone and lived in Oz with a guy I fell in love with when I was there. Sorted out my phobia of worms etc in order to study archeology/paleontology (sp). And thats for starters!!!
The last couple of years have been 'turbulent' (to say the least) mainly because of decisions we have made but I would not change anything as it would have an effect on what we have/what we are now.
Never mind, BOO at least you have a job and all the ladies on the checkout in our local Co-op are lovely as I am sure you are. That is one of the things I regret as well as you, wasting my time at school. Can't go back though only forward and there are many things I would do differently if I could go back. I wouldn't change my husband though, he was the best.
It's not so much what I'd like to turn back, as "if I knew then what I know now" I might have been able to have a better relationship with my father as I grew older. It wasn't bad as it was, but insight is a great "what if"er.
kind of interesting to read people saying 'I wish I had stuck with my schooling and gone on to uni' when News is full of people saying 'Too many people go to university, it's all a con, waste of time, restrict entry'. It reinforces my belief that learning is valuable and people want to do it and regret it if they don't; and that the country would be poorer if we told 90% of the population they couldn't.
