He's just got back fron his first ever root canal at the dentists - no injection and he said he didn't feel a thing. I can't believe it.

often the nerves are so dead atthe tooth its just the vibrations that are felt and discomfort of the poking around. some dentists decide not to inject some do. i went for the injection, and i am glad i did, as he drilled 1mm deeper than necessary and had to peel me from the ceiling.

Yes that is funny doc. Ankou your story made me squirm, even if the nerve was dead I'd still go for the injection - relieves the fear a bit
