or as i said, get some ompanies out to give you quotes, then work out what is best value for money for you. Eddie, i had a quote for my stairs (double winder)for £6000
you had the choice of either "inside" the bends or "outside"
I agree that straight stairs are much simpler and heaper though, although if you have a single winder at the top, you can get one for straight stairs plus a flap that omes down so you can step straight off

Go for a secondhand / reconditioned one. There are lots of these around, if you think about it.
