Just been wrapping some pressies and the paper I bought from W H Smith is brilliant - its got cutting guidelines on the underneath - wow what a good idea!! You dont get that with the cheap paper!!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Ah, but what you don't get with the expensive paper (which you do get with the cheapie stuff) is the fun of watching the unwashed street vendor (with a tattie Christmas hat perched precariously on his head) flogging the stuff with a cry of "Last few rolls left, ladies an' gents", while peeking around the corner to check that his stash of several thousand 'spare' rolls hasn't been nicked ;-)
It happens that way or he dies - seriously, we've got maybe ten things (which is not going to go far when we have 5 children) in the garage so he will have to go and get them, wrap them and keep them in the showroom until Christmas Eve (and this includes stockings). Fingers crossed it doesn't snow or we will be here and Christmas will be 20 miles away.
