Websites that block anything less than 5 star reviews !!!

I bought some items from a jewellers online for christmas presents, then after delivery i got an email asking for a review of the (4) products.I duly filled in the form, 2 items were 5 star and reviewed accordingly, 2 i gave a 3 star rating and again explained my reasons why. the only reviews that have ever appeared online are the 5 star ones ( and the only reviews they have on the site are all 5 star!! ).
I realised that the, not so good, reviews may take longer to appear as im sure they would want to check out malicious post, but mine were fair and honest. Sorry to rant, but it just makes me so mad that these sites can manipulate and select their feedback to such a degree. ok rant over, thanks for reading :-) lol x

I think that's the same with many reviews and recommendations - they only want to use the good stuff. A book publisher wouldn't put on the jacket "this is really badly written". They probably evaluate all the feedback behind the scenes, all you can see is the public version.
