We've been living in our house for 27 years, but wonder why I keep dreaming of moving into other 'different' houses. They always seem to have lots of nooks & crannies, with doors leading to other secret rooms.

It could signify, that deep down you would like a change (moving house )
all the doors that are opened could be (new opportunities that may come to you)
The secret rooms could signify that deep down you may want a change but are scared to , because all the nooks and crannies you are turning in all directions and do not know which is the best step to take next.

I have the same sort of dream smudge, seems like hundreds of room and all in different states of tidiness. Some are immaculate and others are shambolic or down right dirty....... This is what I understand it to mean

Blimey - it's now Thursday! So sorry I'm late back, been a busy bee, but thank you for all your answers.
I thought p'raps these particular last spate of dreams, might be because my husband retires next March & I've been thinking of what the next stage in life will be for us....
It's quite a scary prospect, as we've always worked, but thankfully we are both young at heart, so am sure all will be well....♥

Mr LL retires in October next year. I can't see him moving, especially to the weird rambling places I dream about!! We rebuilt our house with our own bare hands. It was almost derelict when we bought it. Most of the rambling and weird places I dream about are derelict as well. There is no way I am going through all that again ;o)
