I woke up this morning with 'All I want for Christmas is you' buzzing in my head. Ahhh. 'Love Actually'. What a lovely, daft, feel good movie.

That and It's a Wonderful Life do it for me. What about you?

Muppets Christmas Carol!
The Wizard of Oz. They used to show it every Christmas during my childhood.

The above 2 - plus Bad Santa. Love it love it love it - anyone who hasn't seen it, and isn't a prude, absolutely MUST see it.....
It's A Wonderful Life, every year since I was a kid.
Do love Nightmare before Christmas as well though
when I say the above 2, I mean love actually & wonderful life - not the bleedin muppets!!!
'It's a wonderful life', obviously - no competition.

'Elf' with Will Ferrell is a pretty good relatively recent one.
I thought for a moment you were going to say "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" ! lol
I'm with you jd - Muppets all the way!!!
yeh bad santa, & not those bleeding irritating muppets!!
Thanks for that TTG. I just watched it right through and admit to wet eyes in parts of it.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Watching Bad Santa again at this very moment because of the other thread. Die Hard's ok too despite having seen it many times. Anything other than Disney-esque moralistic gloop.
it's A Wonderful Life without a doubt. I have been trying to get my 27 year old daughter to watch it with me for years and she downright refuses!!! What can I do??
Scrooged or The Muppet Christmas Carol.
"The Bells of St Mary's" would be near to the top of my list. (It deserved the 8 Oscar nominations it received)
