I am not a religeous person. Of late I'm not even a Christmas person. I thought Christmas was about the birth of Jesus, not about who spends the most money on gifts that no one wants. Getting in to debt that will stay with you well into the new year. I am not Bah Humbug, even though it may sound like it.

What didn't get eaten on Christmas day was fried, casseroled, minced, etc and used up in the following few days. Because I was brought up like that, I still go on doing it, even better now that there is a freezer. I hate waste and cannot understand why people throw away what can be used. My waste food bin is never used, except for thin cardboard, which the recycling men also collect. When the food is prepared if there are any peelings they go in the compost bin.
Christmas is actually nothing to do with the birth of jesus, it is a holiday that the christians 'stole' from the Pagans.

i think everyone should be given the space to do what they want and not be judged whether that's going mad just once a year, buying on a budget, focussing on the religious meanings, I think people should relax more but people who are not fans of Christmas should not loudly express their moans in public because they are ruining other peoples Christmas joy with their negative comments,
