Oh dear what have Kraft Foods done!

Eighteen months ago there was a 250 gram bar of Dairy Milk Chocolate priced at £1.22.

The size was reduced to 230 gram and the price started rising.

Today in the supermarket it was priced at £2.15.

So much for American company takeovers!

can get it in a newsgent down here in Cornwall for 99p..... Sainsbury's is 1-94 and has had a promo of 2 for 2-50

I used to buy a lot of Cadburys chocolate, the £1.52 size inTesco which is now over £2.00. Now I buy Toblerone at the 99p shop mmmmmmmmm

Newsagent near Kenwyn Hill in Truro had bars 10 days ago at 250g - probably old stock though, I admit......but then there's so much veg oil in them that they could have been produced in Henry VIII's reign and still be 'fresh'

DTcrosswordfan - 250 gram were discontinued in April 2009 - so yes, avoid them like the plague.

You have to have a degree in applied maths to work out which is the better deal these days. The price Has rocketed though.
