Insurance Policy

Hi -this one IS for me ;-) Can I purchase a life insurance policy for my husband without his consent? - If he died suddenly we would be plunged into debt - I don't work other than do the books of his business and rely on his income. I need a policy that would give me at least one year of his average income plus paying off mortgage and funeral costs - he just won't get a policy - don't ask me why its very selfish but apparently , <he's not going to die> ( I know...)
