The current favourite for this venue is Westminster Abbey but does anyone think it might be a good idea to hold it at Windsor Registery Office? This would follow in a new tradition set by his father and, in the current ecomic climate, save the taxpayer a lot of money.

Statisically the Royal Family isn't good at staying together just look at Margaret, Charles, Andrew and Anne and, whilst I hope they are the exception that prooves the rule, should we take that chance?

I think that this is a bit of a Red Herring. All the expenses (apart, perhaps, from the security) will come from the Civil List already granted to the monarchy. The Registrar at Windsor will charge a fat fee, whilst the Archbishop of Canterbury will probably do it for nothing, given a chance to dress up in drag. Mind you, I bet the organist gets more than his fair share of the dibs.

MarkRae as I understand it certain legal experts still maintain that Charles' marriage was not legal under whatever marriage act. I personally have no idea and care even less.
