cant uninstall

I have accidently downloaded winfixer, and i cant uninstall it now, it goes through the process of uninstall, but upon rebooting my pc it is still there, can any one help!?? Please.:)

Try uninstalling in Safe Mode by pressing F8 on startup, and logging on as Administrator if you are running XP. If this doesnt work then I suggest something like System Mechanic to prevent it starting.

The advice given by Bulbousdome is fine but, also, if you've installed this program fairly recently, using System Restore will take your PC back to a date before the installation. (i.e. it effectively uninstalls the program).

Using System Restore won't harm any files (documents, pictures, e-mails, etc) that you've created/acquired since the restore date. The only problem you might have is if you've installed lots of other software between the restore date and now - you'll have to re-install these.
