Do they have a flat rental charge ? How do they work out usage via wifi ?

Fixed, montly rental for the broadband, but I'll paste this from my email yesterday ...

They have a flat rental charge..........you negotiate a package with them I have broadband, unlimited downloads, phone line, and all calls for about £32 a month.

I'm with BT Broadband, I pay a fixed amount a month for my package. However, I had an email telling me this the other day:
"Your BT Total Broadband comes with free unlimited wi-fi access."

However I don't need wifi so I didn't look into it - you have to register for it, and there is a downloadable app if you've got a suitable phone too.

They've sent me a free home hub (that's 2 I've had now) and they're both still in the boxes.

I'm quite happy with a direct connection as I only use the PC at my desk. They've also sent me a free printer, but I do use that.

It's not free as you have the flat rental.......but once you're set up you can use the wifi wherever you go.....

How does that work craft if you take your lappy to a hotel ?

As Naz has said it works using the Openzone wifi hotspots........when you log-on the computer will search for the nearest wifi connection available and you just click onto it at the bottom of your screen and it connects to the internet.
