outsourcing of secretarial work

Hi, is there anybody out there who outsources secretarial work. I worked as a medical secretary for 12 years but prior to that have vast office experience working in the private sector for architects, surveryors, builders, plumbers. I have now chosen to work from home and have up to date technology which is equipped to receive DSS files over the internet. Why are companies so frightened to transfer work remotely. This is the way of the future administrative work and it makes sense to work from home and help to prevent emissions, save office space, the list is endless. Does anyone out there know of any companies who outsource secretarial work or who are interested in this service.

you need to market yourself as a virtual assistant. google it to see how many companies there are.

set up a website, arrange ways to invoice them. go self employed. there are alot of factors.

Hi, got a website as a virtual assistant but when I target people, such as solicitors and surveyors, etc (the medical world work has gone because it is all in India now) I never seem to get a reply. My website is good, very simple, tells them what they need to know, what I do, how much i charge, varietyof work, but to date nothing. Google comes up with what seems hundreds of VA's but I just can't seem to get in there somehow

get some marketing postcards made up from vista print. the cheapest place. get the large postcards done and put them in local business (small businesses) doors
