Next doors cat is always left outside

we've arrived home and it is -8 out there and the poor thing is sitting at my kitchen door staring in at my two cats, who are hissing at him through the glass door, I can't let him in as they all would fight.

Mind you. new cat 1 trish is distracted with her demonic attempt to capture and destroy the few remaining xmas tree ornaments from ther lower branches and new cat 2 Lizzie is now watching said attempts with a look of gleeful disdain on her face.

Whereas, next doors cat is a little angel,

actually my two are now bonding in a chase-me-up-and-down-the-stairs ritual that looks like it will go on for some time yet, They have the attention span of an X Factor judge

You could put a saucer of food out for your neighbours cat just to wind yours up a little more!

Why do people have animals if they can't look after them properly? Poor little thing,couldn't you make it a shelter out of a box,then put a blanket inside? Have you mentioned this to your neighbour?

That is how I adopted my last cat as a neighbour left it out and it kept sitting at our door. My dog at the time wouldnt let it in, but eventually got used to him. Do you have a shed or garage where you could leave the door open and put in a box with blankets and food?
