What is the English name for the herb which Germans call 'Suppenkraut'? It is similar to parsley and used in soups.

The only other thing I can think of is Gartenkerbel which is chervil.In Germany we say suppenkraut or suppengr�n as a broad term for a bunch of mixed herbs or veg eg parsley,celery etc. similar to the bouquet garni that you would use in soups and stews.This would include parsley,thyme,rosemary etc.

It could also be a herb called liebst�ckel which is lovage.
