Dinner was lovely, though I was rather intoxicated with all the Rosé, Paracetamol, Vicks, Salbutamol and other liver-rotting crap before I actually sat down. His highness is now watching "The Who" (I thought he meant the rock group, not the Doctor) whilst I tap away at the keyboard. Dinner is on the table awaiting us and I'm pleased to report that my lovely OH has ensured that there are copious amounts of Sunblush toms, roasted peppers and goats' cheese in the buffet for me. We've got a gorgeous Lodi Zinfandel (Red) to serve up with that little lot, but, in the meantime, we are sipping a rather delightful Rosé Zinfandel and I must say I, as a hitherto non-fan of rosés, have been well and truly converted.
Sorry, drivel over. I hope you and everyone else has had a great Christmas. The kids are back with their mum now and I am only just starting to feel human again (I had a great nap this arvo).
Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you all have a truly splendid 2011! x x x x

We have a had a lovely quiet day together, seen some friends and relatives during the day, just finished a lovely first course of Christmas dinner - now watching the Who (it's a man thing) before we consider whether we have room for the Pud. We had a very acceptable Moroccan rosé which we brought back from our hols... so happy memories too!
