how many revolving resaurants

How many revolving restaurants are there in the world and Where are they all ?

Any suggestions as to how I might find the answer?

Only source I have simply states that, in 1961, the Seattle Space Needle opened and was, at that time, the second only revolving restaurant in the world.  Seems the first was in a shopping mall in Hawaii.  The reference states only that there are hundreds of turn-tables in the world now...

You could Google for them and count the different ones - here.

One of the sites gives a figure of 40 revolving restaurants in the world but I cannot confirm that this is an accurate figure.

Are you only including those currently open to customers, or also those which have been closed?

I always wanted to go to the BT one but it's no longer open to the public (and definitely don't do food now!).

I'll settle for my local one in Munich though... still haven't been up it!

highest one is supposed to be in Toronto, 1100 feet or so.

Toronto may be the tallest (or not!) but I have been to one higher.

Piz Gloria atop the Schilthorn in Switzerland (used as a location for the Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service") is at an elevation of 2970m (9744 ft).

You would probably have to search each country in a google search.  I know that Hong Kong have several revolving restaurants, and they're all advertised as 'he only revolving restaurant in Hong Kong'.  Paris also has a revolving restaurant - in the Eiffel Tower.
