So basically you would either have do it all the same again or live a completely different life. In that life you might have been presented with options that turned out less well than anything you have chosen.
Point is though, there is no chance to do it all differently again. All you have is now. Make the best choice you can now. Dwelling on past mistakes is not a good option.

Erma Bombeck has written some really good quotes, and I really like the one that says something like: give your child all your love when they deserve it the least, because that's when they need it the most.
