A review on the application of the Human Rights Act
what sort of benefits? I pay enough tax and national insurance as it is, when i retire i will no doubt be using the pension I have paid into privately, they could try sorting out the TV license and car tax.

The long term unemployed and single parent families are two groups struggling on current benefit levels.
A quick exit from Europe
I would discuss the banding of the unemployed as I don't think it's fair that the work shy get the same amount as someone who has worked all their life and then get made redundant.
Better inspections of Care Homes.
A proposal for a more stringent cap on immigration plus a workable scheme for voluntary repatriation. We are suffering as a nation and need to conserve the limited resources we have left. No i am not racist, i have actually sponsored a hard working lad from Sri Lanka,nor am i xenophobic, just a realist.
I work full time in a reasonably paid job and I am struggling, my daughter is on long term incapacity and she isn't struggling,

And also jd_1984, long overdue...
now is this right??? i have 2 mates 1 unemployed the other working the guy who does not work pays no council tax pays no rent and recieves an allowance to heat his house during the cold weather..my other mate works..pays his own rent,council tax and yet struggles to heat his house...does it pay to work??? on the evidence of the conversation i had with them both the other day i would say not....

They're trying to sort out the NHS woofgang, 40 of my colleagues are to lose their jobs at the end of March...
that's not sorting that's re arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic. I am ex NHS clinician and manager and I know. We don't revisit what its for, we aren't realistic about what it can do, we analyse the arse off everything for no reason good or otherwise and we penalise people who want to buy private insurance....and that's just for starters....don't get me started on A and E
