Looking a device to keep an outdoor water pipe from freezing.

Does anyone know if there's anything available to keep pipes from freezing? Something like a long thin electric blanket ?

People that live in trailer houses (caravans?) use themto protect the waterpipes that are connected to thier trailers...We also use them in and around barns and other outbuildings...

We Brits generally refer to the living accommodation which can instantly be hitched to a car's tow bar as a 'caravan'. Living accommodation which is in theory movable but is in practice is permanently sited with mains services connected is usually referred to as a 'mobile home' (or, occasionally, as a 'park home').
