I saw the funniest thing last week when I went to the post office to pick up a parcel. The guy behind the counter could only hold my parcel at arms lengths using only the tips of his finger. The reason - he's scared of polystyrene. Have you any irrational fears or do you know anyone with any? I know my friend is scared of peaches.
mine used to be fear of rejection, got so bad in late teens and early 20´s i´d be walking away from the girl before she even got a chance to say anything
I won't have talcum powder in our house, I can't even bear the thought of it on my fingers. A person I know won't eat anything made with eggs outside of her own house as she is terrified that the balancers would still be in it.
I hate clowns, they scare me silly, and I am rather afraid of going to the hairdresser!......yes I really am!...........but have been brave today, only needed a slight whiff of gas and air!..........lol..........pleased with the outcome too!........may go again!!
If you crack an egg open, you can see that there are 2 very jelly-like bits in the whites (top and bottom), I think they sort of join on to the inside of the shell - probably stops the yolk knocking around inside. I'm sure there's a proper word for them They are a bit yuck. Open an egg and have a look to see what I mean.
