If I had the injection last year, because I was an at risk person, due to a heart defect - should I have to have another one this year?

Not having had flu doesn't mean you should never be offered - I've had flu twice in my life and certainly make sure I get my jab each year, I don't want it again! As is suggested, check with your surgery - it may have just been a mistake, and I only had mine in November,
If you have had no call, call them. Flu is no joke and I don't mean man flu either. If you want to collapse into your bed with your head practically falling off your neck with the pain while the kids playing happily downstairs sounds like a herd of elephants gallumphing through the bedroom and paying special attention to your aching limbs then don't bother, but if it means you will escape this then get on the phone right away. I mean this, I have only had "proper" flu twice in my life and both times it was not nice. I forgot to mention the cough - deep and chesty.
