anyone had a diabetic cat ? ideas of costs involved ?

No - but not uncommon in older cats, mine's been checked for it. He has kidney problems, medication costs about £30 per month. Blood tests every 6 months. The vet would give you an idea.
yes we had one , insulin was about £45 a bottle vet advised us it would be ok in fridge for 2 months needles are far cheaper on line , you have to have a new needle each time so as not to contaminate the insulin, our cat had 2 injections a day and once he was stable regained his weight and was a happy cat again sadly he was killed on the road, good luck

just had a call from the vet with the diagnosis ,cant get see her until next week, just wondered what was involved.
