I'm looking to take the plunge and upgrade my PC with an SSD drive. I plan to do a clean Windows 7 install onto it and will only use it for system files and commonly used programs. To be safe, I'm looking at around the 80GB mark.

Does anybody have experience of more than one drive type or manufacturer? Any recommendations on what to go for or avoid? I've been looking at Intel's X25-M but Corsair also seem to be making waves with their drives. I have no actual experience with SSDs so I welcome any suggestions or insight.

I'd wait for newer generation. They're not that life-changing at the moment.
A Sata2 DDR2 Hyperdrive would be nice tho.

I use Raptor Drives .. much faster than standard drives.
