diesel now 130.9 a litre!
11 Answers
Noticed this morning that the BP near me is now charging 130.9 for a litre of diesel, it has gone up a penny a day for the last few days!
How can they justify putting up so much over the holiday period?
Will it go up even more in January or is it unaffected by the vat rise?
Think it won't be long before the haulagers will be out on strike and blockading fuel depot's again.......oh joy time to dust of the old push bike!

Fuel duty rises by 0.76p (+VAT) per litre on 1st Jan.
VAT rises from 17.5% to 20% on 4th January.
The aggregate effect of those rises will take fuel, currently priced at 130.9p per litre, to 134.6p per litre.
Fuel duty rises again, by 1% above inflation, on 1st April.
Oil reserves are starting to dwindle, with political insecurity in many of the world's oil-producing regions.
So don't expect to see any reductions in fuel prices!
