Tremor tonight

Anyone here from yorkshire ? i felt a tremor tonight in manchester
it occurred in ripley according to the news at ten

I live in the southwest part of Wales,and I have never experienced an earthquake myself.
Who'd want to anyway? Not me,that's for sure.....

It must be terrifying to experience an earthquake.Especially when you see your lovely home being very badly damaged.

just reported a min ago on Test Match Special from Sydne - they got it confused as well - i.e Ripon or Ripley.............

Never felt anything in West Wales, last one we felt here was the Dudley one in '02.

We missed the biggie in Folkestone a couple of years ago - there, people's chimneys were caving in, we were asleep, heard bin-lids coming off and blamed it on the cat, and went back to sleep.
