Do you mean to actually run a bath for yourself? or Just to sit in a bath and wash yourself?
Either way I can't remember! but we run a bath for our 6 and 7yr old, but they have to wash themselves and they are left alone to play for a bit, but we're always near by and stay upstairs.

Not sure of the exact age but as I recall it coincided precisely with the ability to make my own bubble bath.

I can't remember...younger than the day I decided it was a good idea to paint the bath black....In gloss as well....My Dad still reminded about that on his death bed...

I was the bestest daughter in the whole wild world...haha

i have a sister of similar age so i think we were left alone quite young because there were 2 of us...probably about 6-7 i think...

I think I was very young - probably pre school, but that was many years ago and I know for a fact that it was the only peace my mum got! I am the youngest of 7 and I was quite hard work I think, but I loved the bath and would play in it for hours with empty bottles. Even if it was stone cold. She'd probably be done by the social services now!

Like joko and his sister, my boys are very close in age, so the bathed together so I probably left them in the bath playing from about 5 - with the door open and me nearby, They are 9 and 10 now so bath and shower themselves - I occaisionally go and make sure that they have washed their hair properly but otherwise they are on their own with that.
