my dog started with diarrhea 2 days ago she is not unwell and still wants food it is not as bad we have been coming down to it on a morning , and sometimes she does it in the room it is not all the time and she has gone all day and been fine there has been no changes to her at all what could it be

She may just have an upset tummy,perhaps eaten something which has given her diarrhea.Try giving her just fish for a couple of days,or something not as rich as dog food and make sure she has plenty of clean water and no treats! You could also pop her to the vets to rule out anything nasty.

If she has diarrhea you dont want to give her more food as this will produce more diarrhea! Starve her for 24 hours then give her something light such as chicken and see how she is. If it hasnt cleared up after this take her to the vets

I agree with Snappy. My dog had a spell like that with vomiting too. Took him to the vets who said to starve him for 24 hrs then give him bland food like boiled chicken, rice or scrambled eggs. If the diarrhea came back then starve for another 24 hrs and try again. Good luck

You should remove the water for the first 8 hours to completely rest the stomach. How old is she, because there are some nasty puppy illnesses that start as diarrhea? There is some concern with dehydration if she it tiny, but having no water over the first night should be ok. Would recommend you see the vet to get some fluids into your dog just to be safe. She probably got into something but you may want to deworm her too just to be sure. If the problem persists but is on and off a fecal test may be in order. (your vet probably will do it in-clininc and you will have the results on the same day) Good luck
