What do thousands of birds plunging to their deaths have in common with the thousands of fish that died in Arkansas. A similar occurrence happened in Sweden.

Yes you could call it a news problem. I'm interested in the scientific reason and what brings all the instances together. Some say it has something to do with the Earths magnetism

More likely escaped gas. Who says the Earth's magnetism and why would it single out Arkansas?

What makes you think that there may be a connection,given that fish and birds only rarely inhabit the same medium and flying fish are mostly marine except for some freshwater species in the amazon. Were the events that you mentioned coincidental in space and /or time or only in the medium of the press?

Most birds use the sun for navigation. Strange that these events have occurred at the same time as the sun was hidden from view by the moon's eclipse.
