Dalglish was very successful last time he was Liverpool manager but he took when they were at the top and kept them there.....but this time he has taken over a very average side.......his spell in charge of Newcastle wasn't exactly a success.......plus he's been out of management for a long time and the game is different now - managers no longer rule the roost, players (and their agents) call all the shots.
...and as for someone suggesting John Barnes is to join Dalglish in a 'dream team' partnership! Barnes failed miserably as a manager at Celtic and Tranmere, he's better off sticking to being a football pundit.
