I despair at the lack of knowledge, regarding the above.
This morning,as I was walking home,a lady,riding a bike,asked me if I could let her pass.
My immediate reaction was to let her know, that she should use the road,as required by law.
I was left gobsmacked by her reply:- "Its too dangerous"
Surely something can be done to police this in a correct manner, with the emphasis being
on police.

Most annoying is one local road where there are wide cycle lanes on both sides and yet, so often, there are cyclists on the pavement on the side where the traffic is moving in the same direction in which they are travelling, so that the cyclist only has to move a yard to their right to be in the cycle lane.
