No Jem dear - you were not being thick at all. I seem to have a glint of the old devil back in me this week! They will not knock it out of me tomorrow either. As I am still prone to the odd faint my boss asked me very seriously what special assistance I would need. I kept my usual poker face and said the one thing that definitely helps me to come round again is an immediate cigarette, so they would just have to pay the fine. The look on her face was worth a month's salary. Eventually i had to smile or burst!
