I wondered what people think of Zen? I love it. I find it a bit weird that it's set in Rome and everyone is English. Very odd! I am impressed though. Does anyone know...is it only 3 episodes?

Agree it was a little slow to get going but was very good when it did. All quite dark (I mean little light, not 'deep') but that may be my pathetic tv :)
I watched it all but may have dozed off for a few minutes. Very stylish production trying to please many markets.
More weird than its being set in Rome with dialogue in English, in last night's episode, after the passing car hit the open door of the stationary one, the drivers were arguing in Italian !
It probably sounded better.
For reasons best known to herself, Mrs jth seems to quite like this programme. :o(
I left Mr. Cupid to watch it , I think the sound on it is terrible, impossible to make out the dialogue most of the time.
Half-a the cast-a sound-a like Captain Bertorelli in 'allo 'allo..........and the others don't.
I can't decide which sound the most improbable.....:o(
In a promo interview it was said that they decided not to attempt Italian accents as they would rather rely on the location obviously being Rome, rather than have 'bad' accents.
Was going to watch it then read some comments on here last week and decided not to. Might watch it one day when its all on iPlayer.

On another note did anyone watch Above Suspicion? That was really good. Saw all 3 episodes back to back last night and I was fixed.
I enjoyed it, but can't understand a word that the secretary (Zen's girlfriend) says. Her English is awful. The other half likes looking at her though!!

Yes Zen and Tanya were definitely easy on the eye :) and I too laughed at the drivers arguing in Italian.
I gave up after the first epiosde which I watched for about 30 minutes. The storyline didn't grab me and the names were confusing. Rufus Sewell is very easy on the eye though! It was supposed to be as good as Wallander but even though there is no good looking cops, the swedish Wallander series is far better.
Im enjoying it so far and cant quite understand why so many people arent liking it?! It is odd the whole non-italian accent thingy but you kinda get used to that after a few minutes.
I like the look of it and it is very cool and stylish but this week he seemed to walk about an awful lot and the pace was slow, seeming to take up alot of time on the glorious external shots of Italian architecture, I'll keep watching though,
I thought it was great, was nice to have a bit of drama on TV instead of all the reality rubbish.
I quite enjoyed it, best thing in it is definitely Rufus Sewell, and I'm glad that other people can't understand a word of what the girlfriend/secretary says, I though that that was just me! Also you don't get much swimming around in underground caverns in Wallender!
Rubbish script - I got bored and switched off.
I am enjoying it, last episode this Sunday - hope they make some more.
only 3 I think... I am recording it to my hard drive to watch in a oner as I tend to forget more than I remember by the next week !
