alexanderd unfortunatley not the right one in fact necastle have done the double in 11 seasons and sunderlands done it 6. thanks for the effort .though i think its not one that can easly be guessed it ,ll have to be one somebodies read in some trivia or heard in a quiz.

rowanwitch and mark 01 .i have asked the question exactly word for word .chelle7272 looked up sunderland v newcastle derby and that is what wilkipedia reports. yes i think it means one team winning both the home and away games in the same season. thanks to all for your time and efforts most appreciated but ithink its gonna take a super anorak to get get this one . if you know one give him a nudge.

sir.prize . that is a lovley suprize i think you,ve hit the nail on the head.i hope yourself and the rest of the very friendly crowd on this forum dont think ive just took the easy way out with this quiz. it comes from the northern echo superbrain quiz.that has 6 sections of 50 questions each including 10 pictures in each catogary.a crowd of us in the pub have put £80 each into the kitty with money going to the charities nominated by the person getting the most answers right in each of the 6 sectons ,the person getting the most pictures right at the most over all so if anybody would like to help or know any body who would like to help its all in a good cause.the northern echo superbrain can be viewed on line.thanks very much for all your help up to now.
