Lewis's hair parting

After watching 'Morse' for many years and through countless repeats, I've only just noticed that Lewis parts his hair on the right side of his head. Morse and everyone else seemed to have - conventionaly- parted theirs on the left. Sadly for me, the option is no longer available, but what do you think ?

As long as they don't part it in the middle I don't mind. I have a pathological hate of hair parted in the middle. It may be because my grandmother said never trust a man who parts his hair in the middle.

I think it depends where the crown is, in most cases this is on the left
