why do so many people turn up late, or forget their passport or smuggle a cat or have too much luggage or whatever stupid self inflicted problem, they see go mad blaming easyjet and expecting them to deal with it, and even break the law to help them!

i assume its lragely because they see the camera and want to put on a show...but in the main, rather than convicing the viewers that easyjet are rubbish they just make themselves look like idiots!

their stupidity just shines through...so why do they do it? it baffles me

cheers

I thought it was standard practise to book in 3hrs before take off; that would surely be before you could see your plane on the tarmac ?
I have to admit to being the opposite type of traveller - I like to arrive very early, with my passport in my hand and worried that the caramel in my Twix counts as a liquid. If i did manage to be late or forget something I'd be too mortified too make a scene, especially in front of cameras.

Andy, in our house that type of conversation is called an ' Everybody's dead, Dave' -

tambo, this was an internal flight - so check in was (then) a much shorter time, the plane was there before the gate closed.
99% of passengers are fine. There is always the odd one so if the tv company saves up all the footage of all the odd one`s there is enough to make a whole programme out of it which makes for good viewing.
I wasn't being personal boxy, would just like check in confirmed. Do people arrive 3h before, all my flights have recommended same. I haven't flown for 3y so things could have changed.
No prob tambo! We have 2-hour check in on our forthcoming flights, gate opens 0405, flight 0605. I think sometimes it depends on the busyness of the airport, and where you are flying to.
