Wall mounting Hitachi TV

We do not have any wall mounting instructions for our hitachi 42LDF30U A television. My husband seems to think there are a couple of different ways it could be done (looking at the screw holes on the back) and wants to do it correctly can anyone help me with this please? thanks so much.

what fixings do you use for canvas pictures as they came with none and i would like them flat to the wall

It's a standard mount called a vesa mount, you should be able to get one from any shop that sells TVs

thanks for your quick answer. we got the bracket when we bought tv a year ago but when he opened the box there are 2 ways in which it can be used and it says refer to your tv instructions for which way is applicable, although i have the instruction booklet it does not mention wall mounting in it?
