I don't slate Cheryl, ummmm.

I just think the Brit Awards are not worth much if the best female vocalist we can come up with is someone who uses voice correction software, and lip synchs.

Compare Cheryl Cole to someone like Adele, who really can sing.

Cheryl Cole can sing no better than many thousands of us. She can sing in tune (most of the time) and that is about it. She has got where she is through her looks and shows like the X factor. People get drawn in.

In other words I'm 100% with JJ on this.

Best female artist!!! Absolutely not.

I would imagine Cheryl will win the award as she is the nations darling at the moment.
I would prefer to see Ellie Goulding or Paloma Faith pick up the award as they both have oodles more talent both as performers and songwriters in my humble opinion.

Despite being born a Geordie - there's just NO comparison. Ellie Goulding ( from Herefordshire where I live now) or Paloma Faith ( FAB at the Big Chill in the summer) hands down! My daughter would disagree as Cheryl is her idol and to be fair, have listened to Cheryls stuff on many (forced) occasions and it's not too bad. In terms of live talent though .....hmmmm sorry, there are others way better than Cheryl out there .
