Help with London bus route please

my son is going to west ham v arsenal today arriving at paddington at 14.35. we have just found out that there is a tube strike today!!! any ideas what bus/ buses he needs to get. I've had a look on journey planner but can't make head nor tail of it! any help wil be appreciated

Jubieanna - take a look at above link, not all tubes are on strike it seems. A No. 5 Bus from Aldgate will take you along the route to West Ham.

Otherwise - tube - Circle or District line.
