bath tap doesn't work

The bath cold tap doesn't work though it occassionally wheezes though the cold tap on the bathroom sink works OK and the toilet cistern refills too. Does this imply an airlock somewhere near the bath tap or what? Many thanks

Sounds like the washer's stuck down Guy .............. turn off the supply to the tap and dismantle the tap body to check (no need to remove tap from bath)
