Illustrations in Kindle ebooks
2 Answers
I'm still very new to Kindle so be patient! I downloaded a book of verse (free) from Amazon and although it displays the poems properly, where the pictures/drawings should be, the word "illustration" appears. Is there some setting I need to change or is it cos it was a free book and you don't get the complete version???
I asked Kindle support and they responded very quickly saying there was a problem with the book but I bought a book today and again the illustrations in the hard copy are missing though the captions appear in the ebook!

Also, although the text may well be out of copyright, the illustrations may be newer - probably commissioned for a particular edition - and thus still subject to copyright regulations.
