I watched the cell today and noticed that every time I had watched it I had somehow i missed the same scene??? Check link

What are those 3 whispering things lol,is there any history on them? Are they Mythical creatures or something.....or am I just over questioning nothing?

I ask as I know I've seen them in a painting and are in missy Elliotts get your freak on music video lol

Crumbs, this looks a pretentious heap of misery!
But to answer your post and knowing nowt about this production, I would regard the three girlies as a refernce to the 'old magic' of things occurring in threes, three being a sacred number, and they also act like the Greek Furies or Harpies - being actively opposite of all accepted 'feminine' traits such as empathy, love and warmth. In addition they appear to be deliberately posed as ancient egyptian wall-painting of souls, both in their body wrapping, their rigid pose and their semi-profile position.

The director used a number of art pieces as inspiration (e.g. Damien Hirst's work for the horse/glass bit) as well as a number of music promo pieces (he started his career in the field - "Losing My Religion" is one of his).
