onda vx979 firmware

i have the above mp3 digital media player, i think the software has a bug as it turns itself off after around 5 mins of use.
i've been trying for hours to find a firmware upgrade so i can reset the software on it but had no luck.
does anyone know where i can get the download from or somewhere i can get the software from

Frankly .. Chinese players havve little or no support at all.
Have a look through this forum for answers. It does not seem searchable .. maybe it is if you register.

cheers Al, i'll have a proper look tonight, i think i found something in the settings last night, i've converted the language to english but there is 1 setting that doesn't translate, upon altering this it seems to stop on but i've not played it for long enough yet to say that it has fixed it.
